The KCT Portal Engine 2.0 will allow web application developers to integrate this Engine in the form of DLLs into their own Web Applications. The KCT Portal Engine 2.0 includes: Forms Based Authentication and Group/User Security, Page and Module specific permissions, Dynamic Page/Module building, eCommerce Engine, eCommerce Server Controls, eCommerce PayServices (ie. PayPal, etc), Portal Based Server Controls (for Authentication, User Validation, Forgot Password, Change Password, etc), other Server Controls (like Quick Help Links, Modal Dialogs, Prompts, Region Selection/Navigation, One of Many Validators). The base Engine relies on SQL Server 2005 datatabases which can be scripted and configured after installation. This package is a great jumpstart on any application needing authentication and security services down to the smallest module.
